With today’s consumer electronics more and more devices are requiring Ip address to connect to Wi Fi Routers, broadband services, laptop computers, internet hotspots, gaming consoles just to name a few.
So what is one?
The technical jargon means (I)nternet (P)rotocol which is standard way that computer information can be sent from one device to another by using a 32 bit address system. Think of it a like door number to your house and when the post man comes along he will know this is your address by the number.
